As an avid artist in various mediums, I invite a select group of artists and non-artists in to my coveted home studio for creative paint and draw time, for wine and discussions on different art styles as well as struggles artists face with the public and within themselves. Youth Development for the Arts (YDA) is a "Mentorship" Group that will meet to promote and provide career development and guidance, training, mentorship and personal growth strategies to low-to-moderate income youth seeking careers in the Arts (film & TV, music, acting, modeling, painting, photography and poetry).

This is a group for anyone who would like to learn to paint in Watercolor and Sketch in Prospect Park. I will offer instruction and demonstrations for those who would like it. Feel free to join if you already are already experienced and just want to paint/draw with a group. Bring your own materials and feel free to ask for suggestions on buying materials. $15 includes demonstrations/instruction.

This group was created to bring together artists in the community to enjoy drawing from a live model. Classes are offered on an ongoing basis. Come attend pastel workshops offered by Pastel Society of America Signature member Jane McGraw. Workshops are offered at a variety of locations around Long Island and are geared to both new artists as well as established pastel painters.

We are the Teaching Studios of Art, and we are committed to bringing traditional, figurative drawing and painting techniques to the Bushwick area of Brooklyn and in Oyster Bay, Long Island. This group will meet on Wednesdays in Oyster Bay, Long Island, and on Thursdays in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn.
